A lovely article in the Charlottesville Daily Progress about James Ambuske, one of our collaborators at UVa, and how they are using FromThePage:
“Here in the Law Library, we’re looking for ways to disseminate our collections and make them more widely known,” Ambuske said. “Particularly after the events of early August here in Charlottesville, we’re trying to emphasize that we have collections from [Chief Justice] Roger B. Taney and [President] James Monroe available — people who were slave owners in the early republic and who wrestled with ideas of slavery.”
